David Blackhall

Mr David Blackhall is Deputy Managing Director of VinaCapital Real Estate.  VinaCapital  is one of the largest fund and investment managers in Vietnam with approximately US$2.2 billion in funds under management .

VinaCapital Real Estate currently manages approximately 35 real estate investment projects across Vietnam for VinaLand and Vietnam Opportunity Fund.  VinaLand, a dedicated real estate investment fund is Vietnam’s largest real estate development and investment Fund with 28 real estate assets across all sectors including residential, retail, office, hotels, leisure and resorts.

Mr Blackhall has 18 years experience in property and real estate funds and asset management and previously worked with DBRREEF Funds Management Ltd (Deutsche Bank), one of Australia’s largest property fund managers with in excess of US$9billion under management.  Prior to joining VinaCapital Mr Blackhall worked in the capacity of General Manager for a local Vietnamese property development company based in Hanoi.  Other experience includes civil and structural engineering on large construction projects.  Mr Blackhall has a Masters Degree from the University Of Sydney, Australia.
