Shang-Hung (Ryan) Shen

Shang-Hung is the chairman of TA YA Electric Wire & Cable group, a fully integrated wire & cable manufacture as well as a public listed company in Taiwan Stock Exchange. The group has operations in Taiwan, China (Donguan and Quensan) and Vietnam ( HCM and Hanoi). It’s Vietnamese subsidiary was the first fully foreign own company listed in Vietnamese Stock Exchange in 2006.

Shang-Hung also serves as supervisor and chairman of  China economical committee for TEEMA (Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association), which is the largest trade association in Taiwan. He is also vice chairman of Taiwan Electric Wire & Cable Industries Association.

He was born in 1958 in Taiwan. After graduating from National Taiwan University with BSEE, he went to Emory University for MBA. Upon graduation, he worked for 4 years for AT&T in Atlanta before joining Ta Ya . His hobbies are golf, wine tasting and photography. He is married with 2 children, elder son graduated from UPenn in 2007 with BS in Bioengineering.
